I redesigned the original model with tighter tolerances that perfectly match my printer's capabilities, ensuring the print fits snugly within itself without any issues. I specified a tolerance of just 0.4mm, which has proven to be an ideal fit in my experience. Additionally, I reinforced the male end with thicker dimensions, resolving the problem of it snapping easily multiple times before the upgrade was made.
