Strengthened Mini 8ight Battery Tray

Strengthened Mini 8ight Battery Tray

thingiverse

The redesigned battery tray, built on the original Mini 8ight design by czar7, has a major flaw that I've encountered repeatedly - the ears that hold onto the velcro straps keep breaking off. A stronger version of this tray addresses this issue head-on, leveraging double-sided tape (also known as servo tape) to securely attach it to the chassis. This modified tray isn't limited to use on standard RC cars; it can also be adapted for custom DIY projects with ease. The battery size compatibility remains unchanged, accepting the same dimensions as the original czar7 design. Print Settings Printer: Turnigy Fabrikator Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: Printed with ABS 1.75mm filament using an extruder temperature of 245 degrees Celsius and a bed temperature of 100 degrees Celsius. No cooling fans were employed during the printing process.
