I tested several materials using both a pull test and a bend test on a detailed post. I'm now posting the STL files that I used for this test. Check out the details here: umforum.ultimaker.com/index.php?/topic/7575-strength-of-different-filaments/BEND MEASUREMENTS can be found by zooming in on the diagram picture - the center picture with the checkerboard pattern under the part - just click the image until you see the red/blue marks. The bend measurements should be made with the red line in the diagram over the edge of a table or counter (use a sharp-edged table) and the blue arrow indicates where to measure vertical deflection. This is the point on the straight part - use another test piece to measure where in space the part was before it deflected and measure from the bottom of the unloaded part at the blue arrow straight down to wherever it intersects with the bent part. I used the following settings in Cura: 20% infill, .8mm shell, .6mm top/bottom thickness (for bend test). For the pull test, infill was 0%, top/bottom disabled, and .8mm wall/shell thickness were used. Other settings should be irrelevant to strength as long as layer bonding is good (temp, speed, brim, fan, support, etc.).
