Street Sport Rear Axle (inner half only)
thingiverse
Woe is my pitiful existence.\r\n\r\nI succumbed to the allure of a beefier battery. With increased voltage comes amplified power. However, with greater might comes manifold complications. I suppose I am persistently uncovering all the vulnerabilities in my Traxxas Street Sport. Yesterday, it catastrophically failed (absolutely disintegrated) the inner axle.\r\n\r\nSo, in response to this calamity, I created this ingenious solution!\r\n\r\nYou will discover an A version and a B version. The C version was a vertically oriented one, but you probably couldn't fit the steel yolk into the joint without shattering the part. A and B are just in two different orientations and are otherwise (nearly) identical. (I think one of them picked up a little artifact while I was fine-tuning it).\r\n\r\nI put to the test a rough draft of this yesterday, but at the very end of the drive, as I beckoned for the car to approach me, the test one disintegrated. I'm attempting various improvements in these items, such as making the base of the joint significantly thicker (I have the room, why not?).
