This is a revolutionary approach to printing quadcopters. Most models rely on the conventional frame setup of carbon plates with spacers between them and attempt to print that. This model simplifies and streamlines the frame instead. The frame is tight, robust, and highly efficient. The design consists of only three unique parts: a main body, a front arm, and a rear arm, all mirrored for a total of six parts. These parts are then secured together using M4 bolts and nuts. This innovative design caters to a 300 size quadcopter. The main body houses a 22x44x136mm battery snugly, with the model built around this specific battery. Printing it for any other battery might not be feasible due to its unique dimensions. Electronics are attached to the sides of the body, and a hollow space in front accommodates the FPV camera. Motors are bolted onto the end of the arms, which can tilt between 0 and 30 degrees. The arms are labeled with T00 - T30 for this purpose. Cables run inside the arms, providing protection to the motors. This clever design minimizes weight while maintaining structural integrity. Print Settings: Printer: Custom Design Rafts: Not Required Supports: Yes Infill: Adjustable (20-100%) Notes: This design can be printed in two runs on a square bed of 300x300mm, with the main body placed diagonally. The main body does not require supports and should be printed with its side flat. Arms may need support on the outside and underside; ensure that the hollow interior is cleared of any support material for optimal performance. The infill and outer shell layers determine the frame's weight and strength, with one factor traded off against the other. A frame with 70-100% infill and 5 shells will weigh around 400g but can withstand harsh drops due to its size. Lowering the infill to 20-50% and using 2 shells will result in a lighter frame but may be prone to damage from high impacts. This design can be printed with PLA or ABS, although PLA offers a better strength-to-weight ratio.
