Stream Deck robust holder/stand (parametric, multiple configuration)
thingiverse
This is a strong and sturdy container for Elgato's Stream Deck (not the mini, not XXL). **UPDATE**: A v3 almost vertical super tall variant (75 degrees) of the holder has been added, this variant will likely need support to be printed (hasn't been tested yet). **UPDATE**: After users have tested the 75-degree variant, there was a problem with the design, but now it should be fixed. Frustrated with existing holders being too fiddly and collapsing on themselves when trying to move them on the desk (this happens often). Seeing many holders that are not steady enough or have extra features that aren't needed or are just plain wasteful, with logos and unnecessary geometry (some are more decorative and are a fashion statement than just a holder). Decided to make my own functional holder over form, there are 4 variants of it, two with hollow bottoms and two solid bottoms, and then each combination with shallow angles and steep angles (parametric source allows adjusting the angle or making a request in the comments). Think the end result is versatile, rock-solid (the back is pretty wide so the stand won't wiggle even after some force), portable (has a separate cover that protects the buttons and slightly the USB cable as well, and ability to bundle the cables inside), with no wasted material, so it should print quickly. No waste in ornaments or logos, just pure function. No post-processing needed after the print is finished, no support needs to be printed as the overhangs are 45 degrees or less, works perfectly with 0.3mm resolution. And the main point is that the Stream Deck feels solid in it, yet allows more than even the improved version of the original stand. Only post-processing or extra steps done was putting 4 rubber/silicone feet on it so the smooth plastic won't slide even on glossy surfaces. Here's a demonstration video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJKwI_28LYs All configurations allow for a clip to be attached on top to keep it fixed in the holder, or a bigger clip which will cover the whole keyboard (handy for transportation in a backpack), keeps the cable inside and protect it partially. These covers are optional and not really necessary for the holder to be useful. SolidWorks parametric sources included, so either do your own configuration, or ask in the comments for something.
