Strazz Tuned Buddy Helmet
thingiverse
I Loved the look of the Dasai Mochi (https://dasai.com.au/pages/meet-mochi) But thought it looked like a fun electronics project with some custom code & 3d printed helmet. After googling I came across someone on Reddit who had created their own spinoff: https://github.com/LukeStrazz/StrazzTunedBuddy/ Uses an Arduino Nano & I2C OLED (128x64) and is also highly customisable given the code is available for all to see/use. I designed a helmet remix along the same lines of the Mochi using a file here (linked as a remix), and also used the file for "Bezel for I2C OLED display" (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1031999) because my design skills are terrible... I then cut out a slot for the Arduino to slide into with the USB port poking out the back. (the board is uncovered so definitely not a perfect design but at least its all bundled together nicely) - NOTE - I don't have pin headers on my Arduino Nano, I've soldered straight onto the board, you will need to do the same! -EDIT- V2 uploaded which has some better scaling for screen hole and Nano. You will likely need to desolder your screen pins and solder direct to the board because the pins they use are huge (I've just bent mine downwards for now). This could still be tweaked to all fit better I'm sure.
With this file you will be able to print Strazz Tuned Buddy Helmet with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Strazz Tuned Buddy Helmet.
