This DIY conversion transforms a water butt into a strawberry planter with superior support and effortless watering compared to just a hole. Drill a hole in the water butt with a radius of roughly 100mm at the bottom, then insert the support. The support can be customized to accommodate different sizes. I've discovered that PLA works fine outdoors, but PET and ABS are designed to last longer, so I opted for Spoolworks Edge PET. The final photo showcases the result after one year.
