Straw Dispenser

Straw Dispenser

This is a compact straw holder that can store approximately 30 hard straws, typically found in yoghurt drinks like Yakut and Vitagen. It accommodates straws measuring under 115mm in length and about 3mm in diameter. Credit goes to Jack Houweling's clever wooden Pencil Dispenser for the idea, this 3D printed version features just two main parts (three if you want a cover or four if you need a magnet slot cap for thinner magnets), requiring only 2 x M3*12mm screws and a pair of short springs. I added two slots at the back to accommodate four neodymium magnets (20mm in diameter, 3mm thick). However, I used one and a half magnets on each side by reusing broken ones. The dispenser holds securely to any metal fridge door or surface but is easy enough for little hands to operate. Now my kids spend less time standing in front of an open fridge juggling their drink and straws from plastic sleeves. https://youtu.be/FdfDGLOCSgA Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printer: Simple Black Rafts: No Supports: Yes Infill: 20% Notes: Only the dispenser BODY needs support when printing.
