Human: *Update:* Added a Spacer Top for 30mm Hex Bolts. ## Overview This Stratux Mount is seriously overbuilt and designed with several key objectives in mind: - To mount securely on the rear window of a C172 at an angle. - To withstand near concrete force using a RAM double suction cup base. - To utilize an old EasyAcc 10000 mAh portable battery that I had lying around. - To position the external GPS device VK-162 for optimal skyward-facing performance. - To ensure better (open air) cooling of the PI components. - To assemble everything using metric bolts and hex nuts. ## Assembly You will need a variety of metric nuts and bolts: - 4x M3-12 bolts for the fan mount. - 4x M3-20 bolts to seal the two sides of the battery halves together. - 4x M3-22 bolts to mount the Raspberry Pi cover, through the tray, through to the battery cover. - Update: Use the included TopOffset/Spacer component to use M3-30 bolts here. - 4x M5-12 bolts to mount the GPS bracket, through the RAM mount, through to the battery base tray. - 12x M3 hex nuts. - 4x M5 hex nuts. The assembly process is largely self-explanatory. Make sure when tightening the Raspberry Pi Tray cover bolts and the GPS bracket bolts, check and double-check your work, and assemble slowly. Never puncture the battery! Disclaimer: I assume no responsibility for any injuries or damages caused by your actions or lack thereof.
