Edit: This superseded case has been replaced by a new slim case, highly recommended for its upgraded design. Updated April 17 at Dan Murray's request, I have revised the dimensions to accommodate his high-gain antennas. The overall length now also accommodates a VK-172. Look for files marked as new for the updated version. Single-band version of my notched case, specifically designed for the Nano RTL-SDR. This design can actually hold two Nano SDR's, with the main difference between it and dual models being that they require additional thickness to provide clearance for the larger GPS module. I have significantly reduced the thickness of this design while adding multiple vents for enhanced passive ventilation. The design still allows for a GPS module installation but requires one with a 30.5x30.5mm footprint, which is commonly used in Multirotor systems. Available as a Notched or End SMA mount antenna and also comes with options of having or not having 6.4mm (1/4") suction cup holes. I have acquired suction cups at my local hardware store, but they need to be fitted with mushroom-shaped metal hooks at the back, which should have thin sections measuring exactly 1/4". For this assembly process, use M3 cap head screws, though #4 screws can work as a suitable substitute. Begin by drilling top case holes to allow the suction cups and then carefully screw the base.
