Stratux Nano SDR dual case with fan
thingiverse
Edit: This design has been superseded by the slim square case, I highly recommend it over this older model. Edit: April 17th Update to fit high-gain antennas from Dan Murray. Also long enough to accommodate a VK-172 antenna. Same rules apply as before regarding hole patterns; look for files labeled 'new'. New Nooelec RTL-SDR design means a smaller case version is now available. This new model comes in multiple versions, each designed to fit specific needs such as the number of antennas to be attached and whether suction cups are desired or not. The base unit is identical across all models. The base has one hole for an MCX-SMA bulkhead adapter. Each case design includes minimal passive ventilation and a cutout for a 30x30x10mm fan. All tops feature mounts for a GPS/AHRS module, such as the RY835ai. Choose the desired top for each STL file. Each filename clearly indicates what options are included. Two antenna versions have an additional SMA adapter hole. The one-antenna model does not have this hole. Suction cup models come equipped with three 6.4mm (1/4 inch) holes in the top for attaching suction cups. Local hardware stores carry metal-hook suction cups; just attach a mushroom-shaped backing piece with a thin 1/4 inch portion. Use M3 cap head screws, but #4 screws also work fine. First, drill the top case holes to allow the hardware to slide through and then carefully screw it into the base. For purchasing this design or customizing, visit https://www.shapeways.com/shops/rtd.
