Stratux Extended (for battery)
thingiverse
I wanted a self-contained Stratux so I didn't have to drag a USB power brick around if I didn't want to. (Plus it's just another thing I'm likely to forget randomly) This case has ample room for a single cell LiPo battery. I happened to have one of those packs that had a bad cell, so I disassembled it and used one of the 3 good cells. This was almost a perfect fit. Inside you'll find 130x42x10mm worth of space under the Pi. I placed some thin foam between the Pi and the pack just to keep the sharp pins out of the LiPo pack. You'll also need: 1 x Charger/Booster 1 x Switch The switch can be wired to automatically shut down the booster when the Lipo gets below 3.2v by connecting the switch to the following pads on the PowerBoost 1000c. Make sure the EN is connected to the center pin of the switch: GND | EN | LBO For printing, I recommend using ABS, PETG or another material that does well in close proximity to heat. Both the booster and the SDRs can get quite warm during operation.
