Stratus 100W LED HeatSink
thingiverse
I recently started working on a project to create a 600W portable flashlight, but I quickly realized that finding a compact cooler for the LED module was a major setback. The only coolers available were cheap Chinese knockoffs of Intel's stock coolers, drilled to fit the LED mounts, and they were too bulky to be practical. After further research, I discovered Stratus making a very compact heat sink for their LED modules, but unfortunately, their products are quite expensive and they only sell complete controller boards and circuits. So, I designed this model to mass-produce it with Chinese manufacturers, as Stratus doesn't seem willing to sell the heat sinks separately anytime soon. Hopefully, this design will be easily and cheaply available for DIY enthusiasts in the near future. These features can be added by drilling them yourself, and I intentionally left them out to give you the freedom to decide how you want to use it. Maybe in the future, I'll create a version specifically designed for 44/55mm lenses and reflectors, but for now, this design is good enough.
