I'm having some fun playing around with this cool thing on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:49865. In 3D Coat, I can easily adjust the windshield shape to my liking. The inner structure gets a boost from the toothpaste command, which works amazingly well. For the windshield, I used a brim to keep it connected to the glass platform securely. To give the body skin some extra support, I chose the Touching buildplate option and set the cutoff object bottom at 0.3 mm. Finally, I printed it slowly with a scale of 1.01 to ensure a perfect fit for my PlaFil1.
