This design takes its cue from Fender's iconic Stratocaster guitar, a legendary instrument that has captured my heart. I've dubbed it the Stratokatse, a name that pays homage to its musical inspiration while also referencing the Greek word "katse," which means "to sit." This project was born out of a challenge in my MSc Product Design program, where we were tasked with crafting a design that embodies a company's unique identity but remains unrelated to their product line. The resulting design is a testament to Fender's bold and innovative spirit. The STL file I've uploaded has been scaled down to 10 times its original size, bringing the dimensions of the Stratokatse to an impressive 62x87x116mm. Whether you print this chair at high quality for decorative purposes or opt for a more utilitarian approach, it's your call – after all, this design is meant to be adaptable and open to interpretation.
