I loved my copy of the game and wanted to make some tweaks to the pieces for better usability. (I printed mine at 80 or 90% scale, .stl files are at the original size for others to use, just scaled in slicer) Added a 9% (as high as I could go without changing shape) tilt back to the face. This dramatically improves readability without bending down to get a better angle for the traditional 90degree units Added a brick like texture to the back. The slight extra thickness eliminates being able to see through the pieces when using lighter colour materials, also helps a lot if there is a strong light on the other side if the room. The non uniform back also obscures number/shape if this does occur. Increased the number size, with 40 pieces in front of you, slightly bigger makes a big difference. I also liked mine scaled down slightly, so larger number helps. There seems to have been some confusion around the Art for the pieces. (It has changed a lot over many decades) The Art vectors source used by T1ckL35 has the "Major" labeled, but that picture is actually the picture for Colonel in traditional Stratego sets. Whereas this Art for Colonel is completely non existent in my old set (1980s) I have put the right art back on No3, Without the correct (to my set) art available for No4, have put the unknown art on No4 as I do not have a .svg available for it. This change is very subjective.
