Stratego like playing piece (blank) and face for custom symbols
thingiverse
The original design was intended to create gaming components similar to those found in the classic Stratego board game. To achieve this, different faces are created and printed to be attached directly to a blank piece. This way, you can easily craft customized game pieces for any game you like. You might even consider mounting these faces on magnetic tape and adding a metal plate to each piece, allowing you to quickly swap out different faces for various games while reusing the same pieces. Currently, two versions of this base piece have been created: - Stratego-like printable faces can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4298217 - Stratego-like whole printable pieces are available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4298238 Unfortunately, I'm unsure of the original Stratego game piece dimensions, but the blank playing piece measures 3cm high by 2.3cm wide by 1.3cm deep. The blank face, which can be customized with icons, is approximately 2.1cm high by about 1.1cm wide by 0.2mm thick. These designs have been optimized for speed printing on an Ender 3 at a layer height of 0.24 and a speed of 80mms. The faces, which can be found in the linked Stratego design, have a base layer of 0.2mm, with symbol heights of 0.8mm resulting in an overall height of 1mm - ideal for printing at a 0.2 layer height. I recommend using ironing to flatten the face symbols. Note that for resin printing, it's recommended to use the full pieces.
