Strap Spool
thingiverse
This is a strap spool holder to help roll up and organize straps. It prints in 3 parts, none of which require supports or rafts, though you will need to flip the TopWheel over. I do, though, print these with high infill. I've numbered the photographs for assembly steps. Basically, once you have all three parts printed, super-glue the ring (BottomWheelRing) to the part with the posts (BottomWheel). Let that sit until dry. Then feed the strap through any of the posts, then through the center slot (of the TopWheel). Snap the top into place, and start spinning it. Easy as that. OpenSCAD file included. I comment then render and export each part separately. This is why you see two of the three parts commented in the included file. Finally, I want to give credit to for this design, which is what gave me the inspiration for mine: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4737135 LionelDagon's design works great too, and is more solid and enclosed. I wanted one using less material giving more room to breath. Interestingly enough, though mine uses less material, it takes just as long to print. More stuff for the printer to think about, I guess!
