Strap Rollup

Strap Rollup

I'm really happy with this version. It's a big improvement over the first one. This one is way more useful because it doesn't need any screws. The design is still functional without any extra parts, but there are four screw bosses built right in. They're 66mm apart on the sides that meet at a tangent. I'm getting a bit wary of using infill unless absolutely necessary. It's just too hard on the machine. So, I went with a wire frame design this time around. That helps the printer move a lot faster. You can use standard straps from the dollar store or rural supply stores as long as you apply some tension. Just make sure to rock the crank back and forth a few times to reduce friction between the arbor and the strap. A little silicone lubricant would also help with that.
