Strap Clip For Surgical Masks

Strap Clip For Surgical Masks

My wife needed a strap clip for our Covid19 masks. To make them easier to put on and take off, I created this small, simple snap-on clip. The clip has two parts: one with a ring and another with prongs. The ring side must face down when attaching the straps because the rounded part of the prong expands it. I tested these clips in PLA, PLA+, and PETG materials, and they all worked great. Printing a set takes less than 20 minutes at .2 layer height and 50mm/sec speed. After printing, check if the gap between the prongs is clear. If not, try sanding the ring's hole slightly to make it easier to snap on and off. This small play doesn't affect the clip's strength.
