Strap buckle for loop at end of leash
thingiverse
I designed this female buckle as a replacement for the original after my dog chewed it up. I took advantage of the fact that the leash had a convenient loop where the broken female buckle was attached. The leash is 1 inch wide. You'll need to use a 1.8-1.9 inch long by 1/4 inch bolt (and nut) to attach the new buckle to the loop on your leash. Make sure the bolt has a smooth surface with minimal threading - this will help reduce wear on the leash over time. I adjusted the design of the female buckle to match the original male one exactly. In my experience, I often have to scale up drawings by 10 when they go into my slicer. This might be because I draw them in millimeters and the slicer expects centimeters.
