I used this bracket to attach a strap with magnets, allowing me to suspend the scope from an electrical cabinet, for example. The short version of the bracket can be used with the strap guide to compensate for proximity to the center of mass - preventing the scope from leaning forward. I found that the long version of the bracket works well enough without a strap guide. The images show the long version bracket and the strap with magnets folded back. The third image shows the model included for a strap guide. This setup works very well for me, and I hope you will also enjoy it. Best, Oliver
