I adore my Costco Takeya hydroflask! The only thing that bugs me is choking on ice cubes when they sneak up through the mouthpiece. I came up with a clever solution: designing this tiny strainer that perfectly fits into the cap via press-fit technology. To ensure a secure fit, I 3D-printed it in flexible TPU, which conforms to the shape of the cap. The design might also work with PETG, another food-safe material with some flexibility to it. The diameter of this little gadget is 50mm, making it potentially compatible with other brands of bottles as well.
