Strainer for 32oz Ziploc Container For Cleaning SLA Prints
thingiverse
This strainer is specifically designed for use with 32oz Ziploc storage containers, although it may also work effectively with others. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate the exact pickle containers being used by others for cleanup with their resin printers, so I opted to purchase a suitable size Ziploc container and create my own custom strainer for it. This design is intended to be stored inside the container with the lid securely closed in place. The bottom of the strainer features 10mm standoffs that are designed to minimize sediment from sticking to the print being cleaned, however if these standoffs are not desired they can easily be snapped off. It's also worth noting that this design may potentially work on an SLA printer, although the tolerances are specifically optimized for FDM printing. In my experience, it printed flawlessly in PETG, but any material should theoretically work as long as it can withstand whatever chemicals will be stored in the container. To assemble the strainer, simply print the strainer and two handles, then snap the handles into place by inserting them into the two oversized slots on either side – they are designed to fit snugly.
