Strain Relief for SainSmart Jinsoku Laser Head
thingiverse
This widget is a strain relief bracket for the SainSmart LC-60A laser. It has not been tested on the LE-1620 but it looks like it should work for that model also. The original cable management for the wires and air assist hose as they come off of the laser head leave a lot to be desired. Using the stock setup (cable tie-point on the side of the head) the wires and hose get trapped between the head and the right side of the x-axis and stops the head from reaching it's full length of travel. It also falls backwards and rubs over the top-right roller of the laser head. This bracket reuses two mounting points and screws to add a vertical launch and zip-tie locations for the tubing and cabling keeping it cleanly out of the way of the x-axis rollers and stops.
