On the right side of the original photo, a bare wire can be clearly seen where the insulation has cracked, making it unsafe. The new design was printed around the cord by pausing the print at the top of the wire slot, inserting the wire into place, taping it to the print bed, and then continuing the print. Hot melt glue was added to the end of the new part to ensure the wire wouldn't slip. Print Settings: Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Infill: 100% Notes: Supports are necessary under the part due to its taper shape. There should be no support inside the wire space; the wire will hold it up from the top. Taulman 3D PCTPE was chosen for the print, allowing it to flex freely.
