The concept of a carbine firing NATO's 5.56mm rounds has been designed using Creo 2.0 software. Drawing inspiration from Swiss military history, this rifle bears resemblance to the Schmidt-Rubin Carbines K11 and K31. While the receiver is modeled after K11, it is shortened like K31's redesign. The lengthy K11 trigger mechanism has been replaced with K31's more suitable version, resulting in a .223 chambered rifle. A diopter sight, based on U.S. Patent 8196333 (similar to SIG 551's sight), completes the design.
