A Simple Straight Key For Sending Morse Code. The Instructions Designed To Print On Smaller Printers The Base Plate Is 100mm Long. Machine Screws Are Used For Attaching Pieces And Screw Heads Form Contacts On Switches. Other Screws Could Also Be Used. A Spring Was Added To Set Tension At Point Just Forward Of Pivot Point In Back. However, The Key Bar Is Thin Enough To Provide Extra Spring For "Contacts" To Work Well. When I Built It, I Found My Spring Too Long Cut From An Old Retractable Ball Point Pen But Still Functioned Okay. Photos Show How Everything Comes Together I Provided Trays To Keep Wiring Organized. Adhesive Could Be Used Instead Tape Or Putty Works Good Enough For Solid Wires So They Just Bended Into Shape One Time Screw Is Locked With Blue Locktite Then Run Wire From Each Contact To Back Post And Plug In To Radio. Two Holes Are Drilled On Sides Of Base Plate If Attaching To A Board Heavy Base Would Work Best. There Is Potential To Make A Larger Version But No Date Set For That. Still Need To Clean Up Code Before Posting Maybe Update Once That Happens Will Try To Improve This One Some More Too And Have Better Design Out
