Updates: -Narrower flip holes and wider chambers are now included, making it harder to "over blow". -Internal support has been added. Based on the Fox 40 whistle's 3-chamber design, improvements have been made. LP_LC NH version: Lower pitch (around 3200Hz) is achieved with larger chamber diameters than the original Fox 40. HP_Fox_40_LC NH version: Pitch is very similar to the Fox 40, while chambers feature larger diameters. HP_Fox_40_LC NH 1.3 version: Pitch is even closer to the Fox 40, and chambers have larger diameters. To print successfully: Avoid using "Detect thin walls" on Slic3r; instead, use a priority of 0.2mm, 0.15mm, or 0.1mm for better results. Recommended outer wall width is 0.32 mm; three layers of perimeter work just fine. Apito MK IV: My loudest whistle project yet. Apito MK V: Features a slightly lower tone and different mouthpiece orientation than Apito MK IV. Design development continues, and suggestions are welcome. Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Printer Model: Prusa Clone Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: Can be printed with 0% infill Notes: Perimeters, top, and bottom solid layers should have four or more. Brim is recommended for a smooth finish. No rafts or supports are needed if printed by the mouthpiece. After printing, remove any loose plastic pieces from the windcutter (knife edge) for a better finish.
