Stove Knob (GE Profile Range)
thingiverse
Stove Knob Replacement This is a straightforward design for a GE Profile range stove knob that I came up with from scratch to replace a broken one. The crucial aspect of this design is the profile used to cut out the key hole on the bottom. To make it fit, I scaled down the original size slightly. In the 123D file, the key profile is hidden as an object so you can adjust it if needed. It might be wise to increase the thickness of the shaft or eliminate it altogether to reduce the need for supports during printing. My goal was to create a part that closely resembles the original. Printer Settings Printer: M3D Rafts: It doesn't really matter. Supports: Yes Notes: The infill should be high enough to make a dense object, and I used a medium setting.
