StormTrooper Resculpt base + Led

This is a modification added to StormTrooper Resculpt by Geoffro, available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:362947/#made . On Thingiverse's posting page, I could not select the ''REMIX'' button.\nI needed a stand for the helmet and since I was using transparent filament, I printed the entire piece and painted only specific areas to ensure the LED lighted clearly . I believe it lights up when using other colored filament too .\nIf you want the version with the LED,\nyou will need\na single LED (most common ones operate at 1.5 - 3V )\na 300-Ohm resistor\nsome salvaged electrical wire\na toggle switch (my design comes with a 15 x 21 mm one)\nThere are two STL files, one for the stand without the LED and one for mounting it . This means the base has a hole for the switch, as mentioned - a 15 x 21 mm toggle switch .\nInside the stand, there's a MN21 battery holder http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1258021 glued to the inner top surface , connected as in the attached JPG scheme. The resistor can be placed on either the negative pole . LED pins' polarity can easily be identified by examining the two components inside the plastic : the smaller one is always the positive . No soldering required, just connect cables together . Remember to print your StormTrooper helmet with low infill or else the LED won't light up from inside the plastic . After all, you have to drill a hole in the head - use a 10-12 mm drill bit . Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa i3 Printer: White Simple Rafts: No Use Needed Supports: Only When Necessary Infill: 20% Notes: Printed with Cura, which automatically filled the inner section of the base to enable assembly of both parts. This way I could easily detach the support and install the toggle switch and battery holder without complications.
