Stormtrooper Pistol Holster
thingiverse
This is for building a Star Wars SE-44C pistol holster for the First Order Stormtrooper costume. The holster is glued to the right thigh armor and uses metric M6 x 20mm screws to slide into the slots. The holster is split into 4 layers which need to be printed individually and glued together with glue. I designed this in Open SCAD to be functional and strong. I'm including the Open SCAD source code as well. The layer height and thickness are defined in variables so it makes it easy to change the thickness of a layer. This might be necessary to make room for the screw head if you don't use an M6 metric screw. If you do want to use the file, be aware that the angled box to cut the slope in the bottom layer is commented out in the code. I also coded the SCAD file with countersunk holes around each bolt head. So if you modified the SCAD file to not draw the bolt heads, you could use the countersunk holes to put in metal screws for a more authentic look. It took many hours to design this. I hope you enjoy it! Happy printing!
