The Stormtrooper head model underwent a series of file format conversions, starting from Max, then moving to 3ds, FBX, and finally to Maya, before being exported as an STL for printing in Art of Illusion. The finished product was printed using a MakerBot with Skeinforge parameters set to create layers at 0.25 mm thickness.
