Stormtrooper "Deluxe" Coaster I printed this model using multiple colors with a single extruder. It's also possible to print it in one color. This is a coaster featuring a stormtrooper with a luxurious design style. A stormtrooper is a fictional soldier from the Star Wars franchise created by George Lucas. Introduced in Star Wars (1977), they are the main ground force of the Galactic Empire, led by Emperor Palpatine and his commanders, notably Darth Vader and Grand Moff Tarkin. In The Force Awakens (2015) and The Last Jedi (2017), upgraded stormtroopers serve the First Order, under Supreme Leader Snoke and his commanders, including Kylo Ren, General Hux, and Captain Phasma. This coaster measures 100 by 100 by 5 mm, fitting perfectly in my coaster holder: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3130397 I printed this model using Ultimaker white PLA and Performa black PLA. I set the layer height to 0.25mm and infill to 18%. I used a 0.4mm nozzle with my extruder at 210 degrees Celsius. A heated bed helped prevent curling at the bottom. To avoid issues, I paused the print when the stormtrooper logo began, switched filament, and resumed printing. Design Process I selected a logo from my browser, converted it to SVG format in Inkscape, and imported it into Blender. I transformed the logo into a 3D object using simple model techniques in Blender. To fix issues, I used Meshmixer to repair the file and erase unnecessary parts. I then merged the coaster with the picture after scaling it down. You can also use Tinkercad or download a template from my website (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3542555). For slicing, I exported the model as an STL file and used Netfabb Online Service to fix any remaining issues. This app offers unlimited STL fixing procedures, which was essential for me.
