A 90-foot wooden tug named Storm King ran off course and collided with Trial Island on December 17, 1941. Today, its compound steam engine sits submerged in 3.5 meters of water. This model was created using footage shot by Jacques Marc, Exploration Director of the UASBC. To make way for the video shoot, a significant amount of kelp had to be cleared from the area. The full story is detailed in The Foghorn's December 2020 issue, the quarterly newsletter published by the society. This model was built from 609 images captured using GoPro stills by Jacques Marc and Ewan Anderson.
