This is Storastacks, the cool way to store just about anything that fits inside. These little boxes let you stash your favorite items on the inside, then connect them all together so you can have custom storage solutions tailored to your needs. There are 10 different varieties for your stacking requirements, allowing for a smooth finish and a stable base for your masterpiece! These small boxes can be connected together by the outside male and female connectors that hook onto each other perfectly. Additionally, the little knobs on the bottom of some models enable you to stack these boxes vertically as well. You can print any of these files to create your own tower of storage, it's all up to you now! STL Downloads Directions (Basically how to read download names): Storastacks Original: This is the original form of Storastacks, with all 4 connectors and the knob on the bottom if no other description is given. Storastacks Bottom Layer: This is the original form of Storastacks minus the knob, perfect for the bottom layer of a Storastacks tower as the name entails. Storastacks Female: This is just a reference to the connector that has two hooks jutting out of the model. Storastacks Male: This is just a reference to the connector that looks like a fat T jutting out of the model. Storastacks Corner: This means that only 2 connectors are included on the piece, 1 male and 1 female, allowing for more possibilities with two varieties of corner pieces! The other "Design Challenge Project" file shows all 10 varieties of Storastacks together, but it is NOT recommended that you print this file. IMPORTANT NOTE: "Original" files MUST be printed with support material, while "Bottom Layer" files do NOT need support material. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple White Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Notes: Supports are only needed for "original" file types, NOT the "bottom layer" file types. I've scaled down each file of Storastacks I've printed to 0.4 for x, y, and z. This makes Storastacks less of a storage device and more of a connecting toy, but I would definitely recommend scaling it down to 0.4 if you'd like it for this purpose. The original scale of the model is very big, and will take multiple hours to print one piece. This is meant to serve more of a purpose of storage rather than printing a ton of huge pieces. Of course, that would still work! A scale of 0.7-0.8 might be good for an average print time, yet bigger boxes than the 0.4 scale. Let me know how your prints go!
