Storage System

UPDATE: I've been monitoring the durability of the parts I produced in June for any issues and have not seen any. Consider this a final product. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This build was inspired by several projects I saw: Credit to Josh19wrc (https://www.thingiverse.com/Josh19wrc) for their hanger/storage system here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3805353 Credit to mjoaris (https://www.thingiverse.com/mjoaris) for their filament holder here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3209211 I wanted to combine their projects and make the combined designs more robust after some of the failures I experienced. You'll need to print two hooks and blocks to start, and one spindle and crossbar per spool. After that, just one of everything for each additional spool on the system. For each spindle you'll need two 608ZZ bearings. (amazon.com sells them for $0.50 ea. or so) Insert the rectangular end of the hook into the block and gently rock back and forth. It will fit tightly! The hook will slowly work it's way into the block and once it passes the trap, will not be removed.
With this file you will be able to print Storage System with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Storage System.
