It took a while to build a fully printable storage solution for the main game of The Settlers of Catan. Finally, here's the result. I tried to design something with flexible parts that would work well with various hex-piece options and different tile configurations. The storage system is designed to be compatible with JAWong's tiles and any other bases like Isolt's, which can be found on Thingiverse. The more you lower your tiles, the more space will be left in the box for additional tiles. The pictures shown are from my initial prototype (with a black top) and the final solution that you can download now. To print this, you'll need to have a printer bed large enough to accommodate pieces measuring 19.5 cm x 20.00 cm x 14.4 cm high. If your printer bed is too small, consider using shocksofmighty's alternative design, which splits some of the parts into smaller components that can be printed separately. You can find this alternative on Thingiverse as well. Here are the parts you'll need to print for the box: 2 x storage core (if you've used self-adhesive foil or any other material that makes your tiles thicker than usual, print 2 x core big) 1 x storage piece holder 1 x storage card holder 1 x storage top 1 x storage center (optional: if you've used self-adhesive foil or any other material that makes your tiles thicker than usual, print storage center big) 1 x storage center top (optional) The placeholder parts you'll need will depend on the tiles you've already printed. Check out the pictures with corresponding lists to choose the right parts. After printing, assemble everything according to the pictures provided. The storage-center part can be used for additional storage, such as storing parts from other scenarios and variants or keeping your manual organized. When transporting the box, make sure to grab it from the bottom rather than the top to avoid any damage.
