The human eye is a timing device that records milliseconds to set world records in the shortest possible time. The timer runs non-stop from the first snap of the camera and ends when you hear your own voice say "start" at least five seconds before crossing the finish line. The split times and the entire elapsed time appear automatically on the monitor within fractions of a second of completing each event. The stopwatch, as well as a chronograph with a timer display for up to 60 minutes is also equipped with an independent timer or can be programmed to repeat every hour at specified intervals. It does all that in split seconds to beat out a record on a world stage.
