Stopper Clamp
thingiverse
The clamp is useful for gripping slippery poles, employing a double overhand noose that tightens automatically due to its rubber inlet. It can securely hold high axial loads (up to 15kg tested), and untying it is easy - simply remove the loop from the groove on top of the rod and pull it back to zero to eliminate the knot. This clamp works well with a customizable block and tackle, such as this one: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:148571, for lifting long poles (up to 12m) like this telescopic rod:http://www.wischmop-shop.de/teilige-profi-teleskopstange-12meter-gleitstein-p-335.html. Additionally, a butterfly loop can be used to stabilize sideward ropes. Alternatively, you could add eylets to this clamp for added versatility.
