Stop Valve

A control device that opens or closes manually for controlling flow is known as a stop valve. Essentially, a stop valve is any type of valve that completely halts liquid flow through a pipe. Stop valves primarily find use in plumbing or industrial settings to turn off the supply of hot or cold water to a fixture, such as an icemaker, toilet, faucet, dishwasher etc. By installing a stop valve, maintenance tasks like filter changes and drain cleaning become easier, and it also facilitates replacing entire designs or appliances. Two popular types of stop valves are gate valves and globe valves.
