Stop for cutting small strips on a Dahle lever cutting machine - Anschlag um kleine Streifen auf Dahle Hebel-Schneidemaschine zu schneiden
thingiverse
I designed this to optimize performance when cutting narrow strips. With the standard stop, there's always a usable gap left behind by the clamping bar. This custom stop has a slender profile that fits snugly under the clamping bar and pushes the paper further until it can't be held in place by the clamping bar anymore. As a result, only a small strip of 6-7 mm width can't be cut because it gets wedged between the clamping bar and the knife, making it impossible for the clamping bar to hold it down during cutting. It's specifically designed for a Dahle 562 but should fit all cutting machines with an 18 x 8 mm guiding profile. If you need a different size, just let me know. To print this design successfully, use supports and allow it to cool completely before removing it from the bed. Otherwise, the thin flat part might become deformed.
