STOP filament / blocking - derailment - crossing of filament on the spool
cults3d
Here is a simple realization that allowed me to remove the worry of the filament getting tangled or stuck in the spool during printing. Since then, no more problems! Printing : I oriented my STOP Filament bar on the flattest part of my part and I did not put any adhesion or support. Using the filament STOP : The best is to put the Filament STOP on the left side (see photo with arrows) because on the right side, the spool which turns on top risks to make it come out of its hooking if the thread pulls too much. On the left, on the other hand, the filament STOP bar supports perfectly the slow movement of the bobbin and the thread is better guided (there is less force passing through the hole, therefore no possible displacement of the bar). I wish you a lot of fun and finally be a little more quiet when you're printing ;O)
