Stop block (for a custom cross cut sled)
thingiverse
I built a DIY stop block setup for my crosscut sled, specifically designed to fit the POWERTEC Universal T-track (71118) using the matching knob kit (71070). This creation comes in two versions - 'a' and 'b', each consisting of three pieces with the spacer being identical across both. Version '1a' is slightly smaller and utilizes 6mm hardware, while version '1b' is designed for 8mm 1.25 hardware. To ensure a perfect fit, I tapped the threaded hole to make it snugger. There's a minor flaw in version '1a', which can be fixed by heating up the bolt head from the knob kit and melting a small portion of its body. I'll upload a corrected version - "Ver. '1a' main" - as soon as possible. Version '1a' has been tested, and it's shown in pictures. Version '1b', on the other hand, is conceptually better but hasn't been printed yet. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I hope this setup proves useful for others.
