I bought a PETG on hobbyking that doesn't support temperature fluctuations. The petg warps every time (image 2). So I noticed the hotend sent air from its fan onto the print (get your hands wet and pass them under the hotend, you'll feel the air passing). To block this air on the first layer, I created this concept (for the Ender 3). I must print the first layer at a max of 10mm/s. It's enough to disassemble the hotend casing and slide in the largest piece inside, which fits onto the casing and under the fan. The second piece is placed on top, either glued or double-sided taped. The casing being only a bent and folded sheet metal, it may need to be bent again to tighten it up. And lower air leaks. (image 4) With that, I finally managed to print without warping (image 3). And finished impermeabilizing with Kapton.
