Models of the stones for low-poly usage in the game engine. Polycounts: Stones of medium and high resolution count a significant amount of triangles. - B-stones have 706 to 800 tris each. - B-Stone models reduce from there with their first LOD (level of detail) cut to about half of their full counterparts. The B-variants follow similar tri-reduction as well: - From StoneB1 to LOD1 has approximately a 350 count, with StoneB2 reaching a similar count but without its variants falling too short, at about the same 370 range as in their parent counterparts, it then reaches LOD3's lower triangle total. Similarly with stones B-4 and below: Stone B4 had only reduced slightly over their initial counterpart of Stone-B3 when it hits a similar number (but not quite), before dipping more heavily into an 110-ish polycount. The stone models decrease with the first level of detail. A comparison between these medium stones and high stones, gives an even better overview. High stones (S-type variants), have some significant poly counts: they come in anywhere from approximately to 102 tris. The same process that the 'low poly variant has, will happen in 1 and then further for Lod levels of the medium sized stones in similar reductions as observed within our medium group prior. Small sized rocks count low tri values ranging from around the mark on the graph: rock lods count lower values but only about -4 to each of their medium variants. These are complemented by additional details like stone material textures with diffuse normal specular respectively that cover and match up well together on a surface level.
