In this vibrant relief, a lavishly dressed warrior takes center stage, his headdress a majestic sight adorned with a mythical bird of great renown. The face is somewhat obscured by the sheer number of engravings that cover the surface, but one thing is clear: the pectorals are boldly displayed in the form of a delicate butterfly, reminiscent of those found on the Atlantes statues, which likely indicated this warrior's esteemed military position. A distinctive triangular 'pechero' also makes an appearance, mirroring the designs of warriors depicted in the famous mural of the Battle of Cacaxtla.
