myminifactory
Xochipilli, or Flower Prince, was a sun god celebrated for his role in feasting, music, dancing, and poetry. The vibrant red color of the stone used in this sculpture symbolizes his creative powers. He was revered during the early stages of spring; however, in his darker aspects, he punished those who overindulged.
