I've got an in-game-ready stone desk asset all set to go, which is part of a forthcoming pack I've been working on. I'm releasing it as a standalone product now. Modelled from scratch using Maya, this blockout build shows off the level of detail you can expect. Each engravings was individually sculpted and textured with care in ZBrush. Meanwhile, baked and texture overlays were done using Substance Painter to create the right stone look. Keep in mind that adding the full Paint workflow files would greatly inflate file size. The main download includes just the .FBX export from Maya within a neatly organised rar folder. That same asset comes included as an alternative OBJ export too, for more workflow flexibility. Each product file zipped with high quality images – at resolutions of 1K, 2K and 4K, this one leverages PBR Metal/Rough rendering. To ensure best performance no metal-only maps are created and stored; that’s to reduce overall zip package size. This stone desk came together seamlessly thanks to my model editor and texture manager in Maya which allows a lot more versatility in uv separation with materials than the usual fixed layouts used often when making things work with 2d texture formats - but be aware uv is overlapping because all items here needed it like that so there's no option to choose differently unfortunately! Finally for all visual reference rendered photos can also viewed via my use of Marmoset Toolbag where real lighting effects & real world material conditions came out amazing after adjusting in ToolBag – so expect more precise control on game asset presentation in game scenes once exported.
